New wood-cladded Heka location to be completed in Kuninkaantammi in late February – application period starting on 31 October
The new Heka location at Asetelmankatu 1 includes a total of 52 apartments, the sizes of which range from 31.5 to 91.0 m².
The application period for the apartments starts on Tuesday 31 October. You can apply for the apartments by submitting an application to the City of Helsinki. If you have a pending housing application, you can add an apartment of the new location to your application by editing the application during the application period.
Asetelmankatu 1 is located in north-western Helsinki in the district of Kuninkaantammi. Buses 52 and 560 pass near the location. The Kuninkaantammi daycare centre and comprehensive school are located nearby.
The location consists of two buildings with 3–4 floors. The buildings are fully accessible, and the hallways have lifts. In addition to homes, the buildings have shared facilities for the residents, such as a laundry room, a drying room, a shared sauna and various storage facilities. The facades of the buildings feature wood cladding consisting of painted vertical and horizontal tongue-and-groove panelling.
The apartments all feature accessible glazed balconies or terraces, with the exception of one studio apartment, which features a balconette. Each apartment also has a heated storage compartment located on the basement floor of the building. All of the apartments are designed to be fully accessible.
The habitable rooms, hallways and kitchens feature vinyl plank floors, while the toilets and bathrooms have ceramic tile floors.
The location also has bicycle storage spaces in the yard area and the outdoor sports equipment storage rooms of the buildings. The location has 28 parking spaces located in a car park under the yard deck. Two of the parking spaces are dimensioned for persons with mobility limitations.
Like all new Heka locations, Asetelmankatu 1 is a smoke-free location: smoking is prohibited inside the apartments, on the balconies and terraces and in the yards.
