Effects of industrial action on Heka on 1 and 2 February
The industrial action planned for Thursday 1 February and Friday 2 February may also affect Heka’s operations.
At the moment, there is no precise information on the extent to which Heka’s operations and services to residents will be affected by the industrial action.
Our customer service will be available as usual by phone and through electronic channels. On Thursday 1 February and Friday 2 February, the customer service point on Viipurinkatu will be closed.
Strike affects waste transport
The strike by Finnish Transport Workers’ Union AKT on 1–2 February may have an impact on the emptying of waste collection points at Heka properties. The strike may affect the emptying times of waste containers even before the strike, from 28 January onwards.
Contacting Heka’s or Helsinki Region Environmental Services HSY’s customer service will not speed up the emptying of waste containers during the strike or on the following days.
