Our customer service will close on May Day Eve, the 30th of April, at 14:00 and will be closed on May Day, the 1st of May. When the customer service is closed, urgent defect notifications should be called to the on-call service number 09 5767 3100.

Short-term apartments

We also rent apartments for short periods for justified reasons.

You may receive short-term rental housing if you need to live away from your home for a few months due to, for example, a plumbing renovation, work assignment or practical training. 

These rental apartments are temporarily vacant apartments reserved by Heka to be used as replacement apartments. Therefore, short-term housing is not always available. 

Please note that, when renting a short-term apartment, the fixed-term lease cannot be continued after the initial lease period, even if the tenant’s need for housing continues. 

The City of Helsinki is responsible for selecting the tenants. 

Temporary housing is not rented to Heka residents because Heka will, for example, arrange for temporary housing for its residents in the event of renovations.
