Warning about scam messages

Scam text messages has been sent to some of our residents. Some of the text messages aim to direct the rent payment to a scam bank account. Heka never sends rent payment information by text message. You can always check the details and status of your rent payments on the Resident Portal or by contacting our customer service.

Our rent payment account numbers changed on January 1, 2023, and we sent a letter about it to our tenants in December 2022. We also told about the change of account numbers on our Residents Portal.

For the payment of rent and any other recurring payments, we will send instructions on the payment of the following year’s rent in December each year. The instructions show the account to which the rent or other charges will be paid, as well as the reference numbers.
