Heka's winter reminder: snow work, gritting and safe everyday life

Snow provides a wintry atmosphere and light, but it also means work for Heka's employees and residents. This winter reminder gives you advice on how to keep the yard and other outdoor areas of your home functional and safe in winter, and how to regulate the temperature in your home. Heka's property maintenance operatives do the snow work in the yard and take care of gritting, but residents also have their own responsibilities.

Heka is harmonising its lease agreements – consistent terms facilitate better housing comfort

We will be harmonising our tenants’ lease agreements in stages over the coming years. This will involve updating the content of our lease agreements so that in future all of our tenants are subject to the same terms. Because of this, we will be preparing new lease agreements with our tenants for their current apartments, which will replace their existing lease agreements. The harmonisation will change some of the terms of our tenants’ lease agreements, but will not affect rent.

Customer service’s summer service hours effective 1 April 2024

The summer service hours of Heka’s customer service will continue until 31 August 2024.

Office desks, washing machines and televisions – tenants bring unsuitable items to Heka’s waste collection points every week 

Every tenant has influence over the tidiness of the waste collection point of their building and how much Heka has to pay for waste management. A tidy building is also more pleasant to live in.

A renovated terraced house complex in Hakuninmaa provides a verdant setting for family life  

On 1 March 2024, a sizeable renovation project was completed at a terraced house complex at Perhekunnantie in Hakuninmaa. The renovation project brought the dwellings built in the 1980s and surrounded by a verdant landscape stylishly up to par with today’s standards.

Halloween parties and yard work bees –tenant activities bring together neighbours of all ages 

There is an active resident committee operating at Tullivuorentie in Ala-Malmi, holding events at which neighbours can meet each other with a low threshold.
