Heka follows instructions issued by the authorities in emergencies

Heka always follows instructions issued by the authorities in the event of a dangerous situation. The safety of our residents, staff and partners is our top priority.

If the authority instructs you to stay indoors, the instruction also applies to Heka’s employees and partners. In such a situation, maintenance, inspection and on-call visits, for example, cannot be carried out until the authorities have issued a notice of the dangerous situation being over. 

Situations where the authority issues a separate instruction or request of official assistance to Heka, the on-call service or a partner are exceptions to this rule. In this event, Heka will act in accordance with the instructions of the authority. 

If an authority issues an emergency warning, follow their instructions. You can monitor emergency warnings in the 112 Suomi app, for example. 

Once the dangerous situation is over, Heka’s services will resume as normal. Urgent fault reports and other service requests are handled in order of priority after the incident has passed.
