Heka’s average rent to see a moderate increase next year

In 2026, the average monthly rent of Heka’s regular apartments will be EUR 14.66 per square metre, which is 1.9% higher than in 2025.

Our tenant survey will start soon

Every year, Heka surveys its residents’ satisfaction with its housing services and resident activities through a tenant survey. We use the results to develop our operations.

Proposals for 2026 rents have been sent to resident committees – increases more moderate than in recent years  

Resident committees received the budget proposals for next year’s rents for a round of comments this week. Heka’s board will confirm the rents in October.

New and newly renovated Heka subsidized housing completed in Autumn

Two new locations will be completed in Mellunmäki and Kalasatama. Two newly renovated locations will also be completed in Kontula and Toukola.

We will gradually harmonise our tenants’ leases within the next few years. This will involve updating the content of our lease agreements so that in future all of our tenants are subject to the same terms.
