Rent payment advice customer service at Heka’s customer service point in Alppila will only be available by appointment starting from 2 June 2025.
Apartments in two new Heka locations will be completed in late August. Applications for the apartments in Smoltinkaari 1 can be submitted starting from 3 June. The application period for the apartments in Saariseläntie 1 that will be completed during the first phase will start on 10 June.
The housing location at the address Käskynhaltijantie 38 will have 96 new homes ready in June, ranging from studios to four-bedroom family apartments. The application period for the apartments starts on Tuesday 1 April. You can apply for the apartments by submitting an application to the City of Helsinki.
May will see the completion of the new Heka location Maapadontie 2 in Oulunkylä. The location has a total of 48 apartments, consisting of studios, one-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom apartments. The application period for the apartments starts on Tuesday 4 April 2025.

Going forward, Aimo Park will be in charge of parking control at all Heka buildings. From February onwards, unassigned parking spaces will also be controlled in all sites.
The new location Tahitinkatu 1 consists of 76 apartments ranging from studios to four bedroom family homes. The new location will be completed in February 2025, and the application period will start on Tuesday 17 December. Income limits will be introduced in the selection of residents for state-subsidized rental apartments at the beginning of 2025. Income limits apply to both new applicants and tenants changing apartments within Heka.
The Tongankuja 1 site in Jätkäsaari will feature 52 apartments from studio apartments to three-bedroom family homes close to excellent transport connections. Tongankuja 1 will be completed in late February, and the application period for the homes will start on Tuesday 10 December 2024.
We surveyed Heka residents’ satisfaction with Heka in September 2024 by sending out a questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent to 20,000 Heka residents. The results will be utilised in developing housing services.
