Every tenant has influence over the tidiness of the waste collection point of their building and how much Heka has to pay for waste management. A tidy building is also more pleasant to live in.

Every tenant has influence over the tidiness of the waste collection point of their building and how much Heka has to pay for waste management. A tidy building is also more pleasant to live in.

A renovated terraced house complex in Hakuninmaa provides a verdant setting for family life  

On 1 March 2024, a sizeable renovation project was completed at a terraced house complex at Perhekunnantie in Hakuninmaa. The renovation project brought the dwellings built in the 1980s and surrounded by a verdant landscape stylishly up to par with today’s standards.

The Heka Board approved the rents for 2024

The Heka Board approved the rents for 2024 on 8 December 2023. New rents enter into effect as of 1 January 2024. Heka redid the rent determination for 2024 after the Helsinki City Board decided to support Heka with 17 million euros in 2024. Next year, the average monthly rent of the regular apartments owned by Heka will be EUR 13.66 per square metre. Currently, the average rent is EUR 12.60.
