Sorting is the basis of household waste management: coffee grounds go in biowaste, aluminium cans are sorted as metal and jam jars as glass, used batteries are taken to a collection box at the convenience store. Sometimes there is a need to sort slightly more specialised waste: furniture, household appliances and car tyres, for instance. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sorter, please read through our instructions.

The ‘Thank you for sorting at home!’ instruction video tells you the right place to put your waste.

The video is also available in Arabic, Somali and Russian on Heka’s YouTube channel.
